While Halloween snow made a brief appearance in 2019, this year’s October snowfall broke records and left many, including star gymnast Simone Biles, feeling quite frosty.
Simone Biles, who was in attendance at Lambeau Field to support her husband and Packers safety, Jonathan Owens, during Green Bay‘s face-off against the Minnesota Vikings, was less than thrilled about the untimely cold snap.
Hailing from Spring, Texas, a place where the winters are brief and cold, she took to Twitter to make her feelings known:
“I’m NOT built for cold weather.”
For Biles, who spent her formative years in Spring, Texas, the climatic extremes couldn’t be more different.
In her hometown, summers are marked by relentless heat and humidity, while winters are short and chilly.
Such a climate hardly prepares someone for the frigid temperatures that unexpectedly descended upon Wisconsin.
On Sunday, the NFL game saw the Minnesota Vikings win over the Green Bay Packers with a final score of 24-10, played out on a snowy field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Vikings improved their record to 4-4, while the Packers suffered their fourth consecutive loss, leaving them at 2-5 for the season.
Olympic champion Simone Biles and NFL star Jonathan Owens indulged in an intimate courthouse ceremony on April 22, 2023, in their hometown of Houston, Texas.
And, on May 6, 2023, the pair sealed the deal with a second wedding in Cabo, Mexico.
